Long time no blog

It has been a long time since I’ve posted anything here or even participated in the flash-fiction challenges. When my father passed away, I moved back to the States and have been busy starting and running my own business. Then, almost three years ago, my dog (that I had brought back to the States with me) died and, this year, my mother passed away.

Now that I’m finally getting back into writing, I’ve discovered that most of the challenges about which I’ve posted here in the past are no longer available, so I’ll be starting with the two that I have found: #ThursThreads (that Siobhan Muir is still running after all these years) and #Mid-WeekFlash (a flash prompt, but not competition, started by Miranda Kate in 2017).

I do plan to try out some of the writing competitions that offer prizes other than just blog badges. Wish me luck!

Correction: Miranda Kate is stopping #Mid-WeekFlash, so it looks like the only one left, unless someone informs me otherwise, will be #ThursThreads.
